❦ 05 [Voice]
[Backdated to just after the Guardian's latest post. He speaks only five words, but those five have deep meaning, considering what and who he is; it is unclear whether he addresses the fae or the mortals.]
You are alone in this.

I spoke too quickly, I apologize.
[She thinks on her next words a moment, not wanting to rush into them like the last ones.]
I don't want to change your mind, no. I was only speaking from my own sense of what others should do and that sense isn't always right. It was unfair of me.
[Ellen caught the mortal child bit as well and she adds gently.]
I would encourage you to listen to your heart. Mortal or not, we all have one of those.

[It's said not as an insult, but in a tone of observation; quite a few of the people he's either talked to or observed share it. He idly wonders if it's a natural thing, or a side effect of the stresses of living alongside the fae. And the apology has soothed his ruffled feathers a bit, fickle thing that he is; as such, he's a little more indulgent with the information.]
I cannot fault you that, and I suppose the fault in your speaking thus is my own. Though brought here as you were, I am of the fae; to 'help', as you put it, I would not be on your side.
But I abstain from aiding them, as well; this is not my kingdom, and their Tithe not my own.
